Named after Josiah Dennis (a favorite minister) and later named the All American Town in 1978 Dennis has over ten beaches on the Nantucket Sound to the south and Cape Cod Bay to the north.
Dennis is home to the nation’s oldest theatre entitled the Cape Playhouse. The town has numerous activities as well as historical sights. Visit the Josiah Dennis Manse Museum and the Jericho Historical Center. For fun activities there’s whale watching, kayaking & jet skiing along with snorkeling and shopping. You can also get a spectacular view of Cape Cod from the clouds via parasailing at Dennis Parasail.
The town also has Dennis Festival Days that includes music and food but more importantly non stop fun!!
